Payment Structure:
Hourly; compensation commensurate with experience.

The Job: Our firm is seeking a paralegal with at least 3+ years of commercial litigation or personal injury defense experience in a law firm setting (or equivalent experience) to join our team. Experience with both E-Discovery, Federal Civil Courts, and Texas Civil Courts. We are specifically looking for a technologically-savvy candidate. This position is based in our North Dallas office. While this position is based in our North Dallas office, the position will include handling cases throughout the State of Texas. As a result, some travel may be expected.

The position is for the Texas office, where the paralegal will be working with our Senior Counsel based in Texas.

The right Paralegal must have:
Expertise in Microsoft Excel
Additional expertise in Microsoft Windows, Word, Outlook, & Adobe Acrobat required.
Experience in E-Discovery, Federal Civil Courts and Texas Civil Court procedure.
Additionally, the right Paralegal will be expected to:
Prepare and file legal documents in both state and federal courts, including e- filings.
Prepare trial and hearing documents in both state and federal courts.
Document control and data management in production and discovery.
Assist attorneys in legal research and cite-checking, drafting/finalizing letters, pleadings, etc.
Case Management, including managing the case calendar under attorney supervision and updating clients pursuant to client guidelines.
Communicate with courts, couriers and litigation support vendors.
Record billing and expense reporting for matters.
Communicate and work well with other members of The Rudnicki Firm team.
